Biography

In a man’s life there are some events and people, who make us better. That’s why each of us has role models and people whom admires. In the most of the cases we know why we like someone and it’s related to certain events in our life. However among the people we like there are some people, or even only one, who we like, without even knowing him, without sharing common events, but we feel him close to us, because somehow he reveals part of ourselves, and motivates us to be who we are and to keep trying to get better. For many people in the world Miro is such an inspirational person. Miroslav Kostadinov - Miro was born in Dobrich on 10 March 1976. Miro starts his musical career back in 1993 as from 1994 to 1999 he participats and wins awards at 11 prestigious international music festivals. In 1999 Miro meets Galia (Galina Kurdova), later they become known as the popular KariZma duet. From the beginning KariZma’s songs are great hits and their pieces are constantly on the top of the charts. Their debut with the song “Riskuvam da te imam” (I risk to have you) bears them 16 nominees and awards, which is a precedent for the successful start of their career. Seven years after its beginning the KariZma duet releases its first album: “Eklisiast”, with the hits “Minavash prez men” (Going through me), “Kolko mi lipsvash” (How I miss you), “Shte izbiagam li ot teb” (Would I run away from you)… Just an year later the two artist are looking ahead to the future and in 2007 Miro begins his solo career and a few months later he is already the Bulgarian number 1 singer. The boy from Dobrich has become not only our friend, but something more: he has become part of ourselves. How is this magic happening? Who makes it and why? The answer is Music and the way it was created by Miro and the way he is giving it to us as a gift. That same year -2007 Miro records his single “Niakoga predi” (Ever before), which gains the awards of BG Radio for “Best lyrics” and “Video of the year”. Niakoga predi is followed by the duet song with Anelia – “Zavinagi” (Forever), which brought them the duet, video awards of Planeta TV, the duet award of New Folk Magazine and duet-song award of Radio Romantika. In 2008 Miro releases his next hit “Gubia control kogato” (Losing control) which brought him many musical awards such as best pop-song award of FEN TV, best song award of BG Radio and best BG Video of MAD TV World. During 2008 Miro participates in the reality show of Nova TV "Pei s men" (Sing with me), winning it with Divna and a 42% of the popular vote. During the same year, just about a year after the beginning of his solo career Miro makes his own label David & Light Entertainment and releases his first album – “OMIROtvoren” (a man who found spiritual peace), that achieves record sales for Bulgaria just through the first week of its release on the music market. The album is appreciated not only by Miro’s fans but also by the media in the music industry which awards him with Best Album Award of FEN TV and BG Radio. During the same 2009 Miro wins the awards of Planeta TV and BG Radio for “Singer of the Year”, as he had received a year before the same award from FEN TV. In 2009 Miro starts his National tour visiting 13 cities in Bulgaria for the promotion of his album – “OMIROtvoren tour 2009”, which has a great success. In the fall of the same year Miro has been chosen with favorable vote from composers, musicians and representatives of the media to be the Bulgarian entrant in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. The broadcasting of his single “Ubiva me s liubov” (Killing me with love) starts on November 13, as he has written the song for 13 days. At the end of the year he makes a present to his fans with the song “Edin koleden moment” (A Christmas moment). For the Eurovision Contest Miro performs 5 songs, with the music being written by him for one of the songs. Exactly that song – “You are an Angel” – is chosen by the audience as the Bulgarian Entry for Eurovision 2010. The British composer Gordon Davis (has worked for artists like Dave Stewart, the Walter boys, Robbie Williams…) takes part of the arrangement of the song. Venol King (art director of Michael Jackson, Kallie Minoug, Tinna Turner, Prince, Robbie Williams…) is in charge for the choreography of Miro’s performance in Oslo. The information about V.King’s work for Miro’s song is published on Michael Jacksons web site. The best Bulgarian deserves the Best from the show business. The Music is a miracle, which has charmed all of us. There is no good or bad music. There is music we hear with the ears and music we hear with our hearts. Miro’s music is flowing from his heart and lives in our hearts. That’s why people from all over the world love him and feel him close to them. Today, working for the Eurovision project Miro is sending a message to all of us: “You are Angels. Don’t let the life makes you something else, because who we are depends of us. And for me, you are my Angels.” This is Miro’s message for Oslo. With this message Miro conquered Ukraine and Greece, and gained friends in Romania. He is trying to spread this message to all Europeans and all the people in the World.
