Caroline Castell


From a home with not just one but three pianos, it was fortunately not conform, but the desire that drives the then 5-year-old Caroline Castell against the music. Caroline played the piano and sang in DR's Children's Choir. Her parents had met through music - mother comes from a family of opera singers and dad have always played music - so the home was buzzing with music, until the day that Caroline's parents divorced. The parents' sudden rupture was hard on the only 8-year-old girl, and that was that Caroline began writing her own songs, as a way to get worked grief. 
Over the years developed songwriting explosively, Caroline's characteristic 'blue note' permeated everything she wrote the lyrics and music. Later, as a 13-year maneuvered she also saxophone, and the songs that poured out of her was sung directly into the mobile phone at a time neatly school English. The songs she put on the web, and since she was 14 years, and the years ahead, Caroline was talking to several Danish record companies. 
But it was only when Caroline age of 17 wrote his first song in Danish that really began to happen. She was approached by producers and studios who wanted to work with her, and finally, earlier this year, wrote the now 20årige Caroline Castell recording contract with Warner Music. 
Over the past six years, she, along with her producer Lasse Lyngbo (White Pony, Vinnie Who), worked to fine-tune its expression, and for only a half months ago, Caroline Castell approached by DR who were looking for a new amazing voice to this Advent calendar year. After a short meeting with producer, wrote Caroline Castell song is now the title song for DR's Christmas calendar 'Time Travel'. 

Caroline's own journey has been running for 15 years, but the rest of us is the journey along with Caroline Castell only just begun. Caroline Castell am PT in the studio and record the songs for his upcoming EP and album which will be released in 2015.
