Biography
There are many different artists sharing the name Aurora.
1) Aurora (known as Aurora UK in the USA) are English trance/dance producers, Sacha Collisson and Simon Greenaway, who have collaborated with guest vocalists Naimee Coleman, Lizzy Pattinson, Marcella Detroit and James Khari. On top of their trance and dance hits, they released an album of acoustic songs, such as the radio hit ‘Dreaming,’ in 2002. 2006 sees Aurora’s return with a dance cover of the Texas single, ‘Summer Son.’
2). Aurora was a Christian girl group that was made up of sisters Lauren, Racquel & Rachel Smith. They released two albums (Aurora, Bigger than Us) and had two hit singles on UK radio ("Mercy Me", "Outta My Heart"). They disbanded in 2002.
They worked with the now lost label Red Hill Records which also served Katy Hudson.
3) Aurora is a punk band formed in Győr, Hungary in 1983.
The band is the longest standing and best known band in the Hungarian punk scene.
4) Aurora is Finlam's new national urban singer-songwriter. 28-year-old woman in a relaxed laid-back debut single is called Yesterday's sun. Aurora has previously appeared with reggae configurations Smoke Sound and the Temple. Together with producer Sakke are working on debut album (come out fall 2014).
5) Aurora Aksnes is a 18 year old girl from Bergen, Norway. She strives to write music that can inspire people, through idiosyncratic tales of struggle, love, and all that lies in between.
