My Opinion Top Artists This Year Have Been Pharrell For Countless Hits, Jay-Z For Completing His Contribution To Rap Vocals & Busta Rhymes For Excellent Featurings On Other Artists Songs As Well As His Own.

Mine has to be Jay Z, Kiley Dean, Lil Kim, Kelis, Joe Budden, R Kelly, Diplomats, Timbaland (although it hasn't been his best year), Missy Elliott and Monica

The best artist of 2003 sure is R. Kelly for amazing beat club like thoia tong, snake, ignition ,step in the name of love and gangsta girl. He created is own style of music and its so good.

What is the the RnB without the R ?? :P

It was 50 Cents year in my opinion - the whole of G unit probably too - u know we aint heard the last of obie trice. Jay Z and Missy Eliot did smash it but they've been popular for agges and 03 werent nuttin special for them. Pharrel would get my vote but he seems to feature too much, and i cant stand the neptunes album. In RnB id have to give it to R Kelly, even tho im not too keen on him, his tracks just seems to be everywhere and he has his dibs on so many other artists - like MH, B2K and ATL.

Yes and for 2004: We shall hear much from Pharell, The Pied Piper, N.E.R.D. (again Pharell) and so much more artists. But there shall be one gonna blow up the whole urban-community: His name is Kanye West!

Let's vote for this guy

Kanye West is ok but he wont blow up, he's just a nice producer with average lyrics.
I think New Edition will strike hard with their new album esp. now Puff is takin care of them.

I agree wit you sincere and I think There will be a lot more where we talk about in 2005(yes I mean really 2005). When we look in the 'history' 50 Cent was the leading man of 2003. But how long is he doin' his thang before the mainstream-crowd have met him??? 5,6 years??? All newcomers have a sort of 'history' If you know what I mean.

Another person to watch out is Nick Cannon.

I think it would have to be 50 Cent, because he blew up from being well known under-ground Rapper to commercial wit everyone lovin' him - (Same wit Sean Paul. Both them "Made It" as they say) ... He made it indipendant and now wit G-Unit ... Being with Aftermath/Shady records he can now put his vocals with some good producing...n it don't sound like a back yard job.
