According to Top40 Charts, http://top40-charts.com/news.php?nid=6938, the full 'participated' country list is:
Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Macedonia, Malta, the Netherlands, Serbia and Montenegro, Ukraine, Turkey, Germany, Austria, Belgium, France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Poland, Romania and Russia.
I vote for Netherlands and UK.
Which song do you think will be the winner?
I vote for Uckraine, Sweden and Greece. UK has send (again) an awfull song and this year there isn't the 'excuse' for anti-war stanse.
I prefer songs from Albania, Cyprus, Greece, Ukraine, Turkey, Germany, Sweden & UK.

Greece! Sakis Rouvas 'shakes' everything! :-)
And the Winner is!!: UKRAINE. Ok, the party is over, the "Lord Of The Rings" dominates the Europe and this lady Ruslana (winner) is the worst icon of it...
Also DJ Rhodes, the only thing which is 'shaked' was the European Media: every PopStar, Fame Academy and Idol selected for Eurovision, is in the bottom of the winning list. Why for second year in te row UK does the same mistake? Why they don't understand that 'Idols' makes people avoid to vote for britain and this isn't for 'political' reasons? ***, was even worst than the lady which she came from the cold.... (Ruslana)

It is interesting that you mention Ukraine. Greenjolly, the band chosen to represent host nation, Ukraine, at this year's Eurovision Song Contest, have had to rewrite their entry after organisers feared it was too political. The anthem's original lyrics ("No to falsifications... No to lies. Yushchenko - yes! Yushchenko - yes!") had to be toned-down.
The Ukrainian song has kept the interest somewhat alive in Eurovision Sing Contest, though many take it with a pinch of salt really....
More Eurovision politics:
Lebanon has decided to withdraw from the 2005 Eurovision song contest in order to avoid airing the Israeli song on local Lebanese television. The European Broadcasting Union confirmed Lebanon's withdrawal. The 2005 event was expected to mark the first time Lebanon takes part, but now it appears Aline Lahoud, the Lebanese participant will not show up.
Lebanon has more important things on its mind than the siong contest. It is now living a great popular upheaval with its former prime minister being assassinated and as a result the country is living a Ukraine-like revolution to oust the Syrian forces and Syrian intelligence services from the country,
