This week there has been one single released Powderfinger - Sunsets this is released Jan 5th. The bullet of the week up 15 places is Crstal Waters - My Time which is at 26. The number one song of the week is Black Eyed Peas - Shut Up. The peas also have their album out which is called elephunk which is at 6th spot on the aria album chart.

Delta goodrem continues to go from strength to strength as she has now sold nearly 1 million albums locally. This will be a first for a female artist from australia. This has not happened to any artist from australia since John Farnham sold over a million copies of whispering Jack in Australia.

In other music news Britney Spears tied the not, however she has since taken this gesture back and is going to get a divorce. I wonder if she was drunk?

Its also interesting, when you think that Delta has sold 1 million copies of her debut album "Innocent Eyes" in a country with a population of about 19 million, while Justin Timberlake considers himself having massive sucess with his debut album "Justified" after selling 3 million copies in a country with a population of about 293 million...

I thought they were releasing Sunsets b4 Xmas in so much trying to make it the no 1 single at Xmas. Anyway better late than never; it's a great song from a great band.

"Sunsets" has entered the charts at number 11..hopefully this will be a top ten hit, finally the bands popularity is rising...however i've heard a rumour that they are breaking up..!?..i have no idea if its true or not, and hope it isnt...

Delta has sold 1 million around the world, not just in Australia. I know she has sold about 500,000 in the UK, probably about 450-500k in Australia too, the countries she has done the best in.

sorry thats wrong. Delta has sold almost 1 million copies in australia - her album is 14x platinum - and platinum is 70,000 copies. so, in total, she's sold about 980000 copies and will very shortly sell her 1 millionth copy in australia - worldwide she's sold 1 million as well, making her total 2 million
