Early 90's turkish song?

There is a song from the late 80s / early 90s, which has an turkish/arabian theme to it.

I dont know the words but the chorus goes (dont laugh) oo oo oo.....a......oo oo oo oo oo (x2), oo oo oo oo oo oo, then the woman kind of does a warbling aaaaaaaaahhhh.

The video features a beautiful looking egyptian womans face, singing (with a tear on her face wearing a kind of purply veil) in the desert.

MTV used to play it a lot. And i think they used the video as part of an advert for MTV dance or something.

I really need to find this one out as I am going mad!

I have discovered what this song is on another music forum.

For anybodys information it is 'Im Nin Alu' by Ofra Haza, who incidently has just died aged 42 of a massive organ failure.
