Just joined this site but am very confused about your Uk chart that bears alarming differences with the UK's official single chart! Is the chart you display also including airplay and such other things? It's very confusing and any non-UK person viewing it would think it was an official chart. There is nothing to say who's chart it is and it gives the impression, as an international site, that this is the UK's official chart.
How can you have Will Young's Leave Right Now down at #35 when last week he was #6 (I think) in the UK's official chart?
It makes no sense to me.....please someone explain! Mikey...editor person...someone?

i can't explain but i've always wanted to know that as well but just never thought of asking it on here.....i think they just make it up....Top 40 charts .com used to display the official Uk top 40 but i think they changed it because it woz boring because no songs went up hardly (although in this weeks official chart Outkast went up 5 to number 9!) but anyway i don't know if that is the reason or not....maybe mikey can tell us!

The chart is based on sales and Airplay, its not the official chart.

yes mikey, you say it is based on sales and airplay, but if that is the case, and it isn't just made up, then why did move your feet by junior senior never once enter the top40charts.com uk chart despite doing well on both those fronts. With dot gone, it's getting hard to find the official top 40 anywhere!

Rio, you can find it only on the 'official' webpage (Radio 1):
