1. Casey Donovan - Listen with your heart
2. Scissor Sisters - Filthy/Gorgeous
3. The Killers - Somebody told me
4. Chemical Brothers - Galvanize
5. Athelete - Wires
6. Silbermond - Symphonie
7. Missy Higgins - Scar
8. Jay-Z feat Linkin' Park - Numb/Encore
9. Ashanti - Only you
10. Brian McFadden & Delta Goodrem - Almost Here
So on the first ever Deelite chart Australian Idol winner Casey Donovan claims the first ever number one song.
Two surprises in the top ten are German band Silbermond at number 6 and young singer/songwriter Missy Higgins at number 7. While not too well known at the moment, the strengh of these songs has guaranteed a placing in the first ever top 10.
Will Casey hold on to the top spot next week or will she drop down the chart like most pop idols tend to do quite quickly? The Scissor Sistors are right on her tail with the 5th release from their debut album and may just sneek in to the top position next week.
