anti-critical!!!

I seriously cannot get over how ridiculously critical some of you ppl r!!! i mean come on, we are purely music appreciatists, not artists and certainly not part of the industry in an educated way. so we should look at what we have to say about the way artists get to where they r.
yeah i agree there is alot of **** out there, but there is also alot of great talent aswell. it is irrelevant how they got to where they r. eg, guy sebastian and the idol phenomenon. i am not really a fan but you cant take away from the fact that he has a brilliant voice, even though it is kinda nasal. and as for delta...well i cant take any more of her stupid boring ballads. i may be able to handle them if she didnt have to throw in a high pitched whine at some stage in EVERY song!!!
as for my musical tastes, well i keep myself open to a bit of everything.from r&b, to hiphop to soul to rock to modern jazz.

would lovce to hear frgom some ppl that dont just pay the **** outa artists and can actually have an intelligent conversation!!!!

Some ppl say everytime, "oh I dont wanna listen to this/that because it is commercial"
I mean, when it sounds good, why not.

I listen to a broad range of music, too. I like a lot of pop but also like most urban, swing jazz, tango music, latin, blues, most types of music, really, but of course not all artists. I don't get the fuss about people coming to us through Idol either. It's what they've got to offer that counts. The good ones will make a career of it, the others ... well. Do you think Guy is nasal? I don't find him nasal (except if he has a cold), can sing high though. (Can also sing very low, which I'd like to hear more of). Great live - if you haven't had the opportunity yet, great arranger, going to be a damned fine songwriter too. Don't really dislike Delta but I've never been impressed enough to buy her.
