You've idented a song for me before and for others, too -- much thanks.
This one may be Brazilian rather than Spanish. Pop with a dance beat
but not electronic. Male/female duet. Male speaks rather than sings
"Hallo" and some other words. Female repeats. There are phrases that
sound like "vaya aqui" (with falsetto sound on "aqui") and two other
"vaya" phrases. Chorus has a phrase that sounds like "numa ye" with
"numa" repeated, as "numa, numa, numa ye". Chorus also has words
that sound like "raise the flag" but I don't think this is English, just
my lack of understanding.
Most grateful for your help.

All -- Dish satellite TV has two channels with videos that help ident
songs and also introduce you to new music: "Mund2" is channel
838 and "IMF" (International Music Feed) is channel 157.

I know exactly what song you're talking about because I have it on a "pirateria" CD I bought for $5. Except on my CD they have it as "Mayahi Mayahu" by Dragostino. But I've since found out the song is actually called "Dragostea Din Tei" and you can find it by a few people such as:

Haiducii
O-Zone
DJ Dragostea

Hope this helps you out.

Hello sinergy74
Thanks -- you're tops. Heard it again, turned the radio louder
and realized they were singing "maya hi" not "vaya (something)".
Googled with "letras" and "maya hi" and found it. Never was
Portuguese or Spanish but Romanian. They play it a lot on
the local Super Estralla radio format. Apparently a giant pop
hit in Europe. And the "numa" part is "numa iei".
Anyway thanks -- you should be a music programmer in the
industry and get paid for your vast knowledge.
