The World Singles Official Top 100 needs to be Updated!! It's the 16th of august right now!!

For the delays are responsible the... Summer! :-) As you already know, many IFPI depts are closed this season and the stats aren't arriving on time. This is also is affecting the Radio Station and imports for Airplay Chart.

This is free so I am not complaining but I pretty much relied on the world airplay and world sales charts to find about new hot music that wasn't being played in the US. I hope we get updates again sometime soon. Thanks admins for a great page!

When will the world top 100 be updated? I'm Just curious about how long it will take:-)
For the July all the updates will be available until the end of the week. For the month August, until Sept. 4-5. Then, the updates will bring back to weekly basis. The oldier users knows every summer that we are having the same problem with incoming stats.

I presume this also applies to the World Modern Rock Top 30 Singles chart, since it has not been updated since the 13th of August! Or has the Modern Rock chart been discontinued?

In case the sarcasm wasn't clear enough in my previous post, I'm wondering, still, when the Rock Charts will be updated. They remain fixed on the 13th of August and a response that said they would be updated in "the coming days" has now turned into a fortnight with still no updates. Can a specific day be set and what is delaying them anyway?
I've been going into Rock Chart Withdrawl Symptoms here!

I'm the first who wants new updates... and not only for the rock chart...
but if there are not updates probably they have problems with servers, databases or probably simply to receive the data of the Summer charts...

I've seen that all the national charts' website are actually running so probably in the next days/week the staff of this website too will be back with new updates :)

Yeah, I respect that it's a free service and all, but the charts freezing up came at a bad time for me - I found out about this site and its listings and stuff not long before they froze, so you can imagine my frustration!

I'd just really hate it if the list was broken up through its inability to be updated, or whatever else is halting the system. Fingers crossed that the updates will be intact whenever they arrive, if not...I want a refund! JK

Phew! Lucky I saved that bottle of champagne. I was beginning to get hopeful there for a second!

Well, it's been awhile since I've come back to the forums, and to my absolute astonishment, the Rock Chart is still set at the 13th of August! Let's take this opportunity to a journey through recent history...

"no charts has been discontinued. we'll have a full update in the coming days" - 8 September

"Data have finally started coming in, we should be fully updated in a week" - 5 October

"we'll let our actions respond to your words" - 20 October

Ah yes. Those were the days...

I went to look at the chart again and I was actually quite shocked! It had...new entries in it...recent ones!
Unfortunately, it was missing something...something like 4 months of missing charts!
Will this be rectified?

Either way, congrats for getting the charts up and running again, even if their flow has been broken quite substantially...
