I would like to form a Top20 Infatuation Songs List! And by infatuation songs I mean love songs, but not the ordinary ones! I mean true love songs, aching, bleeding, infatuating, annihilating, songs that bring tears in your eyes and make you quiver, that make your belly burn and your heart palpitate (in Greece this type of songs are called "kapsourika" = burning your heart). Apart from the lyrics they should have a nice (and original) melody as well!
And they should not be just modern or just Anglo-american. I've heard great Indian, Arab, Italian, Mexican etc."Kapsourika" songs. Also I have heard great 1930's "kapsourika" songs etc. So, let's start over:
- Definitely a "kapsouriko" song is Matthew Fisher's "Why'd I have to fall in love with you". Or Nilson's "Without You". Let's add many more in this list!
