Reggae legends returns

Although they were both contemporaries and labelmates of great such as Bob Marley and Peter Tosh, Toots and the Maytals often go underappreciated in many mainstream music circles. Regardless, they're back with a new album entitled "Light Your Light" that all you should check out. I was pretty skeptical when I first heard about it--they are a pretty old band making a come back--not necessarily the best combo for a great combo. However, after a friend at work (umgd) gave me a copy and I actually listened to it I was incredibly impressed. The album is filled with track after track of bomb roots reggae music--something that's rare these days. Anyways, you can listen to a few tracks on their myspace and see what you think--it's good stuff.
