Groovin' In The Park "Early Bird" Concert Tickets A Hot Seller
Queens, NY (Top40 Charts) Sunday, June 29th 2014 will be a special day for music lovers in the tri-state area as this marks the fourth staging of Groovin' In The Park, dubbed "a day of reggae, rhythm & blues." The annual summer soiree will again play Roy Wilkins Park, located in the heart of the predominantly Caribbean community in Queens and fans are lining up in droves to get their discounted early bird tickets.

"It is safe to say this is the best response we have had this early in the game since we launched Groovin' In The Park four years ago" said Clement "Ras Clem" Hume, radio host and Groovin Inc. executive.

"The early, early bird tickets that we allocated are almost done. The response so far has has been phenomenal! Tickets are being purchased in Florida, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and as far as Canada" he said.

Confirmed acts include lover's rock king Beres Hammond who was the top vote getter (of the headline acts) on the Groovin' In The Park web site. Another fan favourite, Marcia Griffiths - the Queen of Reggae - has big plans to celebrate her 50th anniversary in New York with friends Bob Andy, Judy Mowatt and John Holt.

Music fans are also eager to see reggae's new torch bearer Chronixx, who represents the future of reggae and dancehall music. He has not just a great voice but is exciting to watch on stage. The addition of Australian super group Air Supply, who delivered a powerful performance at the 2011 Jamaica Jazz & Blues festival has made 'Groovin' In The Park 2014" a must attend event! Given their popularity and ability to deliver mind-blowing performances, the group from 'Down Under' will help the promoters pull in large numbers at the gate.

"Groovin' In The Park is the right show that New Yorkers need" said Mt Vernon based music lover Robert Loague. "It brings that Jazz & Blues vibes to the city with just the right blend of R&B & reggae!"
