The Black Keys Frontman Dan Auerbach Produces The Black Tibetans
Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ LaFamos Press) Hailing from the center of Los Angeles, Rock N Roll band, The Black Tibetans, have released their new EP, The Nashville Session. The EP was recorded in Nashville, TN at Easy Eye Sound and produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys. Auerbach also makes a musical appearance on the record. The Black Tibetans keep Rock N Roll alive with an old-school sound in a live fast die young culture.

The Nashville Session is a two song EP with "When I See You" and "You're Cold" encompassing the band's sound of old-school Rock N' Roll. Produced and shot by Larry Niehues of SCRE Production, the music video for the lead single "You're Cold" follows the band in the studio recording along with Dan Auerbach, as well as their antics around Nashville. From cutting tracks in the studio, to record store shopping and riding motorcycles, the video displays The Black Tibetans culture accompanied by their gritty lyrics, "She's looking tough and she's looking mean on my two wheel limousine." Taking time away from his own album and other producing roles, Auerbach was happy to lend his ear and produce The Nashville Session in his studio Easy Eye Sound in Nashville, TN, even lending his guitar skills to the record. The Nashville Session is the band's third release as they previously released a full-length, self-titled album in 2011, featuring fan favorites such as "Esmae" and "It's A Rock N Roll Party". In 2013, the band released a 7-inch EP with two songs, "It's Me" and "Away", recorded at the legendary Rancho de la Luna in Joshua Tree with Dave Catching (Eagles of Death Metal, Queens of the Stone Age).

Formed in 2011, the three-piece Rock N' Roll machine consists of Dinst (vocals/guitar), Tammi Tibetan (bass), and Ryan KH (drums). The Black Tibetans fuse motorcycle-centric culture with old-school sound combining elements of classic Rock N' Roll, surf, and punk influences. The Black Tibetans have been on countless tours and have shared the stage with bands such as Arctic Monkeys, Eagles of Death Metal, Brody Dalle (The Distillers), Social Distortion, The Supersuckers and more. As a result of their progress, the band has received endorsements from Fender, Gretsch, Levis Vintage Clothing, Neighborhood, and The Great Frog.

The Black Tibetans have had the opportunity to make an impression on the fans of many. Through this, they have earned a fan base of their own that continues to grow. With three records and working with well-established musicians in the industry, The Black Tibetans are destined to make a name for themselves. The Nashville Session is out now and available for download on iTunes. Watch the video for "You're Cold" on Vimeo.
