Hogwarts Alumni Work Their Magic On Tough New Yorkers
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) Watch The Rua shut down the streets of Manhattan in their video for "Fight For What's Right," where the Irish trio create a fleeting moment of soaring strings and passionate vocals amidst the harshness and stresses of everyday life:

The Rua will make their US debut at CMJ in October ahead of their early 2015 debut album, produced by the legendary Bob Rose (Beach Boys, George Harrison, Roy Orbison). The band is comprised of siblings Roseanna, Jonathan and Alanna, who shifted their focus from acting (all of them appeared in the Harry Potter films) to music, drawing upon their classical training. The Rua is rounded out with Blondie bassist-songwriter Nigel Harrison and Portishead drummer / Radiohead and Robert Plant collaborator Clive Deamer.

Alan Cackett says The Rua performs their "mesmerizing melodies...with rare grace, daring and sheer joy" while Classic Pop says they're "the missing link between Haim and Fleetwood Mac."
