ole-bluestone, a music publishing co-venture between ole and iconic super producer Timbaland, has completed a worldwide co-publishing deal with Maurice "Velly" Conaway, a hip-hop and R&B producer, songwriter, and musician from Baltimore, MD, who has worked with R&B and hip-hop artists Twista, Busta Rhymes, and Mya along with Grammy Award winner Angelique Kidjo. He has also scored the independent film Incomplete and worked on TV soundtracks for the Oxygen

"Velly is an extremely talented musician, songwriter, and producer who has worked with big-name artists in hip-hop and R&B," said Leo V. Williams IV, General Manager of Creative (Los Angeles) for ole. "He is an excellent addition to the ole-bluestone roster, and we look forward to representing him."
"Velly has deep, refined musical chops," said ole-bluestone's Eric Spence. "Being adept at playing ten instruments, he serves up some serious ear candy."
"I'm excited to be working with ole-bluestone and can't wait to get started on the projects we have lined up," said Velly. "It's a thrill to work with a company that really understands the needs of songwriters and producers, and I'm ready to get started on bringing my ideas to life with their help."
Velly is a multi-instrumentalist, playing 10 different instruments as well as reading, writing, and composing full scores. He participated in the 2013 ole-bluestone song camp at Thomas
Crown Studios in Virginia Beach.
Velly joins a growing stable of talent at ole that also includes seminal prog-rock band Rush, Aerosmith
frontman Steven Tyler, and up-and-coming country artists Tyler Farr, Josh Dorr, Sam Grow, and Jesse
Rice, among many others. ole-bluestone also has prior co-publishing deals in place with Garland "Sebastian" Mosley, and Clare Reynolds.
