New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Rapper Lamar Cole, aka Mrtoolegit, has been spending the week promoting the release of his new single, "Red Carpet n the Country" with back to back dates in two states! The
Alabama artist is zigzagging from Georgia to Tennessee and back to Atlanta for an array of appearances during BET hip Hop Awards week.
Cole began his campaign with a stop at 89.3 WRFG in Atlanta to introduce "Red Carpet n The Country" on their popular Hard Knock
Radio show, before heading out to Tennessee to perform at the Fall Heritage Festival in Cowan (near Chattanooga) on Friday.
Saturday, Cole makes his way back to Atlanta, to attend a special radio industry honors luncheon at the Vibes Lounge, hosted by Drumma Boy & Bigga Rankin. The event is sponsored by MP3Waxx, one of the industry's most notable music service distribution companies, and was created to recognize the industry's most notable deejays and producers. Those scheduled to be honored include radio personalities J. Nicks of HOT 107.9'S Durrty Boyz, Hoodrich Radio's own DJ Scream, Streetz 94.5 FM's DJ Holiday, The Beat Miami 103.5's Kay Foxx, DJ Nina 9 of
Sirius XM The Heat, and producers Bryan Michael Cox, Luney Tunez, Mannie Fresh, Jazze Pha and more!
Later in the day, Cole will be performing at the 4th Annual Grand Hustle Block Party at 255 Lounge at 255
Peter Street, Atlanta's biggest daytime party in the city!
And of course, Cole will join his fellow rappers and hip-hop artist at the Annual BET Hip Hop Awards Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center in Atlanta, GA Saturday night. The show will air on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 on BET.
