Legendary Dance Music Imprint Starlight Music Announces Rebirth
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The notorious label that gave us so much from the likes of David Jones, Federico Scavo, Robbie Rivera, Felix Leiter, The Cube Guys, Alex Kenji and many more is making a hugely anticipated return this autumn with a new line of releases in the pipeline from a typically first class roster of talent. Born in 2008, the brainchild of Luca Ontino and Barbara Tanzini took little time at all in becoming one of the go-to imprints for House music's best and brightest.

Collaborating with the likes of Spinnin', Defected and Armada - the Starlight movement has been a regular fixture at the top end of the charts for as long as they've been in business. The label has been out of action for two years now, but we're excited to announce the imminent return of one of dance music's finest labels. Picking up a silver record in France with more than 140,000 units sold, the label's success has reached some of the most influential channels in global music including MTV, M6, All Music, Viva and many more. Not content on sitting on their underground reputation as a serious source of the best new and innovative dance music in the world - the team behind Starlight dream big and achieve even bigger. Breaking new grounds for House music has always been the label's ethos and with the surge in popularity over the last two years since we last heard from the label - there's no guessing what Starlight have up their sleeve for the months ahead.

PINK RABBIT

Arguably the most memorable arm of Starlight was the prominent Pink Rabbit imprint - a home to some of the most reputable names in electronic music. With no less than 75 releases of nothing but the absolute best in dance music under their belts, the label that presented us with hits from Jewelz, Antillas, Dankann, Blinders, Total Sound, Adam Rickfors and Lush - not to mention appearances from Avicii, Axwell, Robbie Rivera, D.O.N.S., VINAI and many, many more is back in business and the hype is understandably buzzing.

Label boss Barbara Tanzini: "We always tried to focus on music before the names. Our goal always was to release good music and to give a chance to new talents."

More than just a source of new music - the label's reputation as a breeding ground for success is an exciting draw for even the biggest names in the game and if the accomplishments of the past are an indicator for what's ahead - you'll want to be keeping a close ear on the Starlight family. With some of the most celebrated A&Rs professionals in dance music working the recruitment process for the imprints, you can expect to see a new wave of both underground and mainstream chart-toppers back on a label that's been missed by both the artists, DJs and fans that know exactly what they want to hear. With the reincarnation already attracting support from the likes of Afrojack, David Guetta, StadiumX, Dannic, Fedde Le Grand and many more - Starlight are right back to where they left off - at the very top of the tables.
