Hae Bang Chon Fall Festival 2014 - Freedom For All Live Music
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Hae Bang Chon Festival, first began in 2006 as a showcase for independent musicians, with that idea in mind it has continued to blossom with each new season. 2006 was also the beginning of the DEELEEBOB Music Company, and Lance Reegan-Diehl continues to be the central organizer for the festival now in it's 9th year.

A staple of the local economy, the small street where the action happens is very famous as a local expat hangout. And the street and area has been even more popularized by MBC and by SBS for showcasing certain restaurants and the unique culture of the area. Here many independent businesses owners sell their goods and ply their trade. Gyeong Li Dan has expanded in a similar way, with a good number of supporters for what is now a 'Yongsan' independent music festival. "I actually see it as something that can become an entire week of indy music from around the world!!" hints Reegan-Diehl from his HBC hideaway / underground bunker / studio.

The latest addition to the Fest, is the return of comedy in a big way. With Seoul's comedy pioneer 'Brian Aylward' making a return performance to HBC fest during his Asian tour. Brian, started standup Seoul, and continued onward and 'Aylward' as they say. His goal during HBC fest is to perform a 1hr comedy spot on October 17th starting at 10pm. Brian is also setting his sights on the world comedy record. On October 18th Brian will perform at every Fall Fest venue, starting at 2pm until midnight. His goal is to film and perform a show at every venue within one day. With the help of HBC fest crew, this should go off without a hitch and plenty of Laffs.

Street level acoustic performers will entertain the busy bars, while below ground a plethora of rock, alt-rock, funk, blues, R&B bands will keep the air vibrant until 1am. Once again meetings with the local authorities bring about caution in the streets. Signs will be posted once again about traffic caution and be supportive of the local Peace officers, they are there to help.

The HBC Festival is a DEELEEBOB Music Production, with Lance Reegan-Diehl being the central point between artists, venues and business owners. Music sponsors for the festival, that also endorse Lance Reegan-Diehl as an Artist, include Sound Drive Amplifiers, Graphtech, Swing Guitars, Olympia Strings and Straps, along with all participating business owners in the Hae Bang Chon, and Kyung Li Dan area. "The festival would not be a success without the perseverance of indy musicians out there, and the open mind and support of the local business owners that I have in this area." says Reegan-Diehl. "I hope for future that more owners and musicians see a benefit to supporting the Festival and the efforts of my company DEELEEBOB Music."

The festival begins on Thursday Oct 16th with the Thunderhorse opening Jam 10pm onward, Friday October 17th with the music starting at 9pm and running until midnight 8 venues total. Brian Aylward will have his Comedy venue at the V.F.W. Canteen from 10pm to 12am. Saturday the 18th is an entire day of music from about 2pm until 1am with 20 plus venues and over 100 performances. Brian Aylward will be at every venue through out the day. And another international addition 'Max Reynolds' is making his way from Texas to bring his bashing / rocking sound once again to rock out at HBC Fest. Max also has lined up other shows in Southeast Asia.

Sunday the 18th will see us left with a few performances, singer songwriter afternoon at Craftworks 2pm to 6pm, followed by the HBC Blues Closing Jam from 'Hangouver' at Phillies Pub 8pm to 11pm hosted by DEELEEBO Music, and L.R.D. Band.

Entry to this music festival will cost you absolutely nothing! Fest T-shirt's are at $15.00 to support the festival, located in Hae Bang Chon street right next to Fix pub in the DLB tent that is supporting Tshirts, fliers, maps, and other festival items.
