2014 Buffalo Trace Battle Of The Bands Winner Announced $10,000 Grand Prize Goes To Black Heart Saints
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Buffalo Trace Distillery) Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is excited to announce the winner of the fourth annual Battle of the Bands is Black Heart Saints, from Austin, Texas. Through the month of September, fans voted online for their favorite of eight finalists and a panel of judges reviewed the top three vote getters to determine a winner for the $10,000 grand prize.

Since January, fans have voted online at the Buffalo Trace Saloon for their favorite band, and each month the top vote getter earned a spot in the final round as well as a $500 monthly prize. Of the eight bands in the final round, Black Heart Saints, Copious Crush and We Are The Riot received the most votes, with more than 46,000 each in the month of September alone.

"This year we heard some awesome music from some very talented bands representing many different styles," said Bourbon Brand Manager Kris Comstock. "Congratulations to Black Heart Saints, the win was well deserved."
