Sundials' 'Kick EP' Premieres On AV Club; Out November 4 On Topshelf
LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Earshot Media) Richmond, VA indie rock three piece Sundials are streaming their new 6 song EP "Kick" on AV Club. Kick is out November 4th on Topshelf Records and is available for pre order now in the label's webstore and on iTunes and Amazon MP3.

"Kick" was recorded at Noisy Little Critter in West Chester, PA with producer Mike Bardzik (Spraynard, Everyone Everywhere) who they worked with on their last studio LP, 'When I Couldn't Breathe'.

Sundials will play The Fest 13 this weekend in Gainesville, FL and are also confirmed for Stay Sweet Fest in Richmond, VA on November 21.

The band may deal in big hooks and songs that fall under the larger umbrella term of "punk," but it's always felt more akin to Superchunk at its most energized and rocking as opposed to its snotty, fast-paced peers. Sundials may always get called pop-punk, but it's the kind that avoids all of the style's tropes, making for an invigorating take on a genre that's so often painted by numbers...strengthens the band's link to the modern punk scene while still sounding like a band someone would have discovered via a '90s Merge Records mail order catalog."- AV Club

"...splits that fine line between melodic punk and indie rock. It jangles but it's driving, the production clear but unpolished, and there's enough hooks on this thing to have guaranteed it a spot on a '90s college radio station."- BrooklynVegan

"...it's clear that the trio knows exactly who they are musically. Shooting off from classic, clear-cut pop-punk, Sundials meet somewhere between college rock and '90s emo."- Wondering Sound
