Pink Panther, Sound Wave In NJ 'World Cup' Sound Clash
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The tri-state area is eagerly anticipating the upcoming sound clash billed "World Cup Champions" in New Jersey featuring popular Jamaican sound systems Pink Panther and Sound Wave. Also featured in the clash will be Young Hawk from New York and King Shine from New Jersey. The event takes place on Saturday, November 22 at the Prince Hall in New Jersey.

There seem to be a number of different opinions as to who will walk away with the title. Young Hawk in a recent radio interview in New York stated that they have killed 11 sounds this year and that this clash will be business as usual. They sent an ominous warning to Panther saying, "We know when you start cutting tunes, so there is no way you can play certain artists". Young Hawk did express some apprehension as Jamie admitted to not knowing a lot about Sound Wave.

Pink Panther the five star general and self-professed winner of nine world titles has stated that he has been cutting dubs for many years, long before he parted ways with Black Kat and therefore has the depth to continue his legacy of winning World Titles. When asked who he considers his main threat. His response was "Mi no fraid a none a dem but all a dem fraid a mi."

Pink Panter and Sound Wave are arguably two of the best Sound Systems in Jamaica right now. NJ based King Shine however sees this as an opportunity to establish their sound as a force to be reckoned within the tough world of sound clashes.

Promoters Jingles Entertainment and HGM Production have been working extremely hard to get the word out and are promising fans an exciting clash. When the curtain falls on Saturday, there can only be one winner. Who will it be?
