New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Underground's numbered shows are always an eclectic mix of musical styles and genres, and this time is no different. From folk to alternative rock, there's something for everyone at Underground 115. To start the night there's One Talent, an adorable married couple who had their first gig in Vancouver, moved to Malaysia and are now performing in Hong Kong. Their music shows influences from pop, folk, electronic to indie rock, and the duo's voices are every bit as compatible as you'd expect them to be. Next up is The Sulis Club, an indie rock band consisting of four young musicians who combine elements of Brit rock, Japanese rock, math rock and pop in their music, where they promise to make "talent and passion collide". The third act that night is Mockingbird, whose sincerity and values are evident from the inspiration for the band's name - classic novel "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee. Their heartfelt alternative rock is meant to help you find your inner self while you bob your head to their catchy riffs and choruses. Van de Kamp, a band hailing from Quebec, will wrap up the night with their explosive French alternative rock. Having toured Canada, Tokyo and Bali, they're now in Hong Kong with songs that sound like the "gentle words of Molière blown from the exhaust pipe of a '53 Triumph".
