Genre-Merging Band, Magic Giant Releases Debut Single "Glass Heart"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Straight off the eclectic Venice Beach, folk-electronic band, Magic Giant is making waves with hypnotizing tracks and extortionate performances. Taking their down to earth, party-like sound to the stage and studio, the band sold out their weekly October residency at the Los Angeles venue, The Bootleg Theatre. With a celebrated buzz around their name, the band is releasing their single and video for "Glass Heart", which is now available on iTunes.

"Glass Heart" displays the bands ability to lead with low-crooned harmonies, running into a full boisterous barn party that has you begging for more. Opening with a soft banjo and lead singer Austin Bis' seductive vocals that swell with the pulsating beat of the song, the track is chocked full of life and spirit that is bursting at the seems. Merging genres and instruments across the board, elements of folk, hypnotic rock and electronic beats rise, creating a blended genre fusing melody. Complete with lively horns and marching-band snare rolls, Magic Giant takes simple instruments to create a full barefoot-tapping ambiance. Encompassing the enthusiastic performance of a their live shows, the video for "Glass Heart" showcases the band's diverse live performance elements with their dedicated fans. Penned and produced by the band, lead singer Austin says, "'Glass Heart' started writing itself in a dream I had, which became a Zambricki banjo lullaby, which turns into a dream-woven dance party". Lyrically, the song displays the tenderness of the things we truly love. "If we hold it too tight, it shatters. If we hold it too loose, it falls".

While playing the festival circuits, Magic Giant has supported headliners such as Passion Pit, Phoenix, The Killers, Imagine Dragons and many more, yet this is only the beginning for Magic Giant. Drawing from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, the crew has evolved into a folk-electronic band that includes Austin Bis on lead vocals; John Zambricki on banjo, mandolin, and fiddle; Brian Zaghi on upright bass and acoustic guitar; and drummer AJK. Drawing a close on 2014, this four-piece ensemble is finishing the final touches to their self-produced debut EP, which contains first-rate musicians like Rashawn Ross (Dave Matthews Band) and Spencer Ludwig (Capital Cities). Lending his expertise to David Guetta, lead singer Austin Bis' credits also include writer and producer recognition on the title track of his 2014 album Listen, as well as numerous artists. The band has created a five-star reputation; not only for their entrancing music but also for their electrical charged live shows, that are complete with sold-out audiences, elbow-to-elbow dancing, and a jaw-dropping drum line. Magic Giant isn't just another show; it's an experience incumbent of exhilaration proceeded by a tantalizing ending.
