Enuff Z'nuff Release Whacky New Video For "The Stroke" From Their Covered In Gold Album!
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) It's been 30+ years since Billy Squire unleashed his debut single "The Stroke," and gave teenage boys everywhere a reason to grab their instruments and get strokin'. Now, Enuff Z'nuff just gave them one more! The classic hard rock group, who this year celebrate their 30th anniversary, just released a light-hearted and sexy video for their cover version of Squire's rock anthem. The video, directed by David Stekert, stars Enuff Z'nuff founder, bassist, singer and namesake, Chip Z'nuff, fronting an all female band who romp their way through the song at double speed, like a Benny Hill sketch trapped in a studio rehearsal room. The video also features a guest appearance by Jesse Camp, everyone's favorite shaggy-haired stoner and winner of MTV's first "Wanna Be A VJ" contest in 1998!

Established in Blue Island, IL 1984, Enuff Z'nuff scored its first major success in 1989 with their gold-selling debut album, containing the hit singles "New Thing" and "Fly High Michelle." In 1991, the second album Strength appeared, which had Rolling Stone magazine calling them "The Hot Band Of The Year" as well as earning them numerous appearances on the Late Show with David Letterman. The mid-late '90s brought difficult changes, but Chip kept the Enuff Z'nuff torch burning with several tours both Stateside and overseas as well a steady stream of well-received studio albums. Earlier this year the band released its first ever covers album, Covered In Gold, a collection of 12 eclectic cover tunes from Bowie's "The Jean Genie" and Nirvana's "All Apologies" to Prince's "When Doves Cry" and Smokey Robinson's "Tears Of A Clown," all of which showcase this group's incredibly diverse yet supremely melodic sensibility. Covered In Gold, like Enuff Z'nuff, is further testament to the timeless appeal of great rock melodies, and not to be missed by fans of Steven Tyler, Robert Plant, and Paul Stanley. As David Letterman says of the group, "When it comes to Rock N' Roll, you don't need anybody else."

"These guys deserve Rock Superstar status!" - Howard Stern

"This band writes great songs!" - Paul Stanley

"One of the more exciting and gifted bands on the scene today!" - Rolling Stone magazine
