New York, NY (Top40 Charts) BritWeek has appointed Francis O'Toole to its board and announced its 2015 Los Angeles dates - April 21st - May 3rd. From an acting family, O'Toole has worked as an independent producer in the entertainment industry in London, New York, and Los Angeles since 1998. Earlier this year, he finished collaborations on two feature length documentaries and is currently working on production of new television shows with Glen Larson and legendary director Matt Cimber, and seven feature films at his new company, Phantom Studios.
"We could not be more pleased to welcome Francis to the board," said BritWeek Chairman Bob Peirce. "With his impressive record of bringing US and UK talent together in the fashion, music, television and film industries, he exemplifies exactly the kind of international creative collaborations that BritWeek celebrates and encourages."
"Just one hour in both London and L.A., in restaurants to record stores, films to fashion boutiques, you can't miss the love affair the cities have with one another," said O'Toole. "Where chance encounter once led to the co-mingling of these two star-blessed lovers, BritWeek has become their regular rendezvous for innovation and creativity, and I am wildly excited to be part of it!"
