Laura Ingalls Wilder. Adapted for the stage by
James DeVita, and Directed by Emily Chase, the play tells a story of family love. When Christmas approaches so does the storm, and we see how a family comes together to share gifts of the heart, whether
Santa makes it across the creek to the family's house or not. Jolie Adamson delights audiences by playing the entertaining role of Nellie Oleson. The play is an enchanting musical the Los Angeles Times has listed as one of the "family-friendly holiday fables to see." This is Adamson's second Equity Production at
Sierra Madre Playhouse. Last holiday season she starred in the acclaimed A Christmas Carol as Emily and Belle exposing her superior soprano vocals.
Jolie Adamson has been busy this season with back-to-back live performances on stage, and appearances at film festival red carpet events for the multiple-award winning feature film ODD BRODSKY, which is directed, produced and co-written by Cindy Baer. It was co-written and photographed by Matthew Irving. In this quirky comedy about following your dreams Adamson plays the star of "Hell is Here," which is the musical within the movie. This is Adamson's second collaboration with Baer as Director. The first was when Adamson was 13 years old, she starred in the hilarious short film titled MORBID CURIOSITY that screened in 28 film festivals and won four Audience Awards. Georgina Yates in the primetime television episode of Criminal Minds titled "Profiling 101" and is still airing.
