Sol Nokokishi Re-Releases Popular LP 'Vol. 2 Odjiko (Resurrection)'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The intercultural group known as Sol Nokokishi have re-released their popular LP album, "Vol. 2 Odjiko (Resurrection)." It forms the second part of Sol Nokokishi's critically acclaimed series which currently comprises seven full-length records of uniquely exotic new-age music, each of which symbolizes a facet of humanity's part in life, natural order, and the universe. An a-capella collection unlike any the music fan is likely to have heard elsewhere, "Vol. 2 Odjiko (Resurrection)" by Sol Nokokishi is an ethnic and spiritual music experience listeners of any music genre won't want to miss.

Sol Nokokishi is the short name of the Sun Child Symphonix Arkestra [sic]. The group prides themselves on recording music which describes planes of being, emotion, and understanding which transcend those with which the common passerby is typically familiar.

Describing the overall message and theme of "Vol. 2 Odjiko," Sol Nokokishi writes, "Sol Nokokishi's a-capella, sophomore re-release is a melodic expedition of Naka-Kishi thought and culture. Recorded in the raw and live vibration of the jungle rainforests of Central America, each tone and vibration is aimed at resurrecting our inner divinity and encouraging us to awaken our latent potential. While very pleasing to the ear, the 'Odjiko (Resurrection)' experience is a deliberately boundless expression of divine love."

Music by Sol Nokokishi is released on the Kiyokayo.Bio and Rbtbushfrog.Media recording labels respectively, with copyrights held by the Kiyokayo Bioworx Institute. The Sol Nokokishi / Sunchild Symphonix Arkestra was formed in 1999 proclaiming a mission statement "to promote social and environmental awareness forwarded through the ancestral visions of Naka-Kishi culture."

Information with regard to Naka-Kishi is hard to come by outside of that which is provided by Sol Nokokishi, themselves. This makes each of their published albums much more than a mere music release, but a cultural time-capsule describing the nuances and beliefs of an elusive people whose mark on the world is perhaps most clearly viewed in terms of this elegant and evocative music.

Prof. Jo Nak-Itomi, director of the Kiyokayo Bio-Worx Institute's Kobo Shashoko-shishi cultural initiative writes of this, "Our community is culturally rooted in endangered / marginalized and indigenous populations from around the world. We intentionally made an exodus to the jungle rainforest of Central America to flee the oppression, death, sex slavery etc. perpetrated by the modern war and conflict matrix currently escalating around the planet Earth.

"While the original founders of our community were escapees of the blood diamond, tungsten and other natural resource conflicts responsible for the destruction taking place throughout Africa (Congo, Cameroon, Sierra Leone, Libera etc.) our community is now also made up of asylum seekers from numerous additional ongoing conflicts taking place in regions such as: South Asia, West Papua New Guinea and North/Central/South America. Many of the escapees were artisans, musicians, griots (cultural archivists), healers and farmers in their original communities. We are now 'cultivating a new being' in a peaceful and natural environment, raising a new culture with many ancient roots. Although it takes time for scars to heal, our Sol NOKOKISHI healing tones have been a major part of the process and now our community is currently growing in wellness. We hope to share healing and wellness with the people of the world."

Sol Nokokiski provide the following official bio on their official website [links provided below]:

"Within Naka-Kishi society, the communication arts are revered as conscious compositions used to celebrate festivals and cosmic events, perform rituals and correspond with the forces of nature. Every song, chant, and drumbeat is an intentional expression of the collective. Amongst the Naka-Kishi people, the art of invocation and proverb is complimentary to the art of inscription and scroll. Both are used as techniques that develop character and mindfulness as knowledge is passed from generation to generation. While also entertaining, Naka-Kishi tone teaches social values that stimulate excellence. It is used to praise cultivation or criticize neglect of the community."

Also of chief significance is the charitable nature of the Sol Nokokishi group, whose bio concludes by saying, "All proceeds from all Sol Nokokishi album sales go to support our rainforest community and human excellence initiatives. "Vol. 2 Odjiko (Resurrection)" by Sol Nokokishi is available online worldwide. Fans of world music, New-Age music and global awareness should get in early.
