Orange Amplification Sponsor Rock The House Final
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The final of the UK Parliament's biggest competition, Rock The House, sponsored by Orange Amplification, was held at the US Ambassador's London residence, Winfield House, Wednesday 18th March 2015.

The US Ambassador, Matthew Barzun, is well known for his 'Winfield House sessions', where the likes of musicians Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Belle and Sebastian mingle with parliamentarians. Rock The House saw him welcome legendary artists Rick Wakeman and Ace, music industry stalwarts Cliff Cooper, CEO of Orange Amplification, and Tony Moore, owner of Balham's award winning venue The Bedford, along with the competition's founder Mike Weatherley MP.

In addition to supplying the backline for the event, headline sponsor, Orange Amplification, was proud to donate four of its critically acclaimed Crush Pro CR60C combos as winners' prizes. Cliff commented, "we have been working with Mike and Rock The House for four years, and we are delighted to be part of a campaign that has helped raise the profile and importance of intellectual property in music, and support up and coming new talent at the same time."

The competition's aim was to celebrate the best creative talent in the UK. The winners were Mark Sullivan (solo category) and Mohawk Radio (band category) . Runners up were Celia G and Rich Low (solo category) and Iskender and Dorey The Wise (band category). Other winners included: Under Nineteen Bands, New Project, Best Live Music Venue, Colchester Arts Centre, Best Music Video, Digital Criminals and The Mike Weatherley MP Discretionary Rick Award, By Definition.
