New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Sixteen-year-old Heather Faulkner has asked to perform at the prestigious "A Tennessee Waltz," the annual fundraising event for the Tennessee
State Museum. The black tie event will take place on Saturday, April 18th at the Hermitage Hotel and the Tennessee
State Capitol.
Hosted by Governor Bill Haslam and First Lady Crissy Haslam, and sponsored by The Jack
Daniel Distillery, this elegant fundraising event provides the primary source of revenue for the annual operation of the museum Foundation. Award-winning female vocalist, Connie Smith will perform the classic ballad "Tennessee Waltz" at this year's gala and Faulkner will be the featured performer at the "Waltz Late Party" at the historic Hermitage Hotel.
Faulkner is a talented 16-year-old singer/songwriter who attends Brentwood High School and writes attention garnering music between homework and passing her driver's test. She has been generating a huge buzz since she was featured in the popular multi-platform series, "Waking Up In America." The gifted young performer currently is an artist in residence at Valentino's in Nashville, and has been privileged to perform for the IndieCares Concert Series, the Hollywood Meets Nashville Grammy Benefit Gala and the Women In Film & Television
Spring event. She is scheduled to go into the studio this spring with Johnny Garcia (Trisha Yearwood) to record her debut CD!
