Shuttersong Secures Patent For Technology That Combines Images And Other Data Into A Single Digital File IP Opens Up New Application And Licensing Potential
New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Shuttersong) Shuttersong, developer of the free app that makes photos more exciting by integrating music, sound or voice, has been granted Patent No: US 9,009,123 for its exclusive technology that combines image data and multiple non-image data files into a single entity without altering the structure of the image.

"Shuttersong's IP opens up a wide range of potential applications in the areas of user and enterprise security, education, marketing/advertising and others," said William Agush, founder, inventor and CEO of Shuttersong. "We intend to license or partner with technology firms to significantly expand the reach and impact of our IP well beyond the consumer app for which we are known today."

The pioneering technology forms the backbone of the Shuttersong app which lets people add up to 15 seconds of music, sound or voice, into any photo, rendering them more expressive and powerful.

"Shuttersong's technology transforms an ordinary digital photo into a rich media experience that can entertain or evoke an emotional response," said Alan Bullock, associate director at InfoTrends. "What's really interesting, though, is the potential to deliver additional types of content through photos, which are already an essential component of personal and business communication."

Tech firms and app developers interested in exploring how to leverage Shuttersong's patented image/non-image combination technology should contact William Agush ([email protected]). This announcement comes on the heels of the release of Shuttersong 2.2 that allows users to favorite other users' Shuttersongs in its public feed. Shuttersong 2.2 is available for free download in the Google Play, and iTunes App Stores.
