Smashing Pumpkins announced today that they are partnering with Easter Seals Dixon Center to raise awareness and resources for communities to provide meaningful jobs, education and wellness for veterans and military families. During The
Smashing Pumpkins 2015 Live Nation summer concert series, "The End Times" tour, the band will work in collaboration with Easter Seals Dixon Center in its joint partnership, "New Beginnings: Reaching America's Vets."

Smashing Pumpkins summer tour, The End Times, is dedicated to America's Veterans and Military Families in conjunction with Easter Seals Dixon Center. The
Smashing Pumpkins and Easter Seals Dixon Center collectively launch the "New Beginnings: Reaching America's Vets" campaign. The objective of the campaign is to raise awareness to the challenges and trauma that so many of our veterans and military families face while reintegrating back into civilian society. We stand shoulder to shoulder with Easter Seals Dixon Center in reminding fans and industry affiliates that we must partake in their emotional journey home. Their honor, service and sacrifice should never be forgotten," said Billy Corgan, creator and lead singer of The Smashing Pumpkins.
Easter Seals Dixon Center is the military and veterans arm of Easter Seals, which has been supporting all generations of veterans since World War II. The organization is a resource for veterans, military families, employers and organizations that want veterans to reach their potential and participate fully in their communities.

In communities across the country, Easter Seals affiliates deliver services that veterans and military families need to live productive, successful lives. To date, Easter Seals Dixon Center has trained more than 30,000 military and veteran caregivers through a partnership with the Veterans Administration, in addition to providing direct services to 165,000 veterans and military families through community-based services ranging from adult day care, to job training, to camping, recreation and respite programs.
"New Beginnings: Reaching America's Vets" launch coincides with The Smashing Pumpkins' "The End Times" tour that kicks-off July 7 in Concord, Calif.
