Cyberlink To Sponsor Myanmar International Music Festival
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) CyberLink Corp. (5203.TW), the industry-leading maker of award-winning PowerDVD and PowerDirector creative software, has announced its sponsorship of the Myanmar International Music Festival, which will be held in Myanmar, June 8-14, 2015. This year's event will feature performances by Kimball Gallagher, pianist and composer, Kaiyin Huang, classical pianist, Kirsty Griffiths, mezzo soprano and choral conductor, and Joel Schut, violinist. Additionally, approximately one hundred Myanmese artists and students of mixed ethnic backgrounds will perform in community and educational concerts.

The Myanmar International Music Festival is a unique annual event, which brings international musicians together with their local counterparts for a week of training, creative events, and performances. The goal of the festival is twofold - to educate and facilitate artistic growth in young musical talents, and to promote the engagement of the business community with Myanmar's artistic and cultural life.

"CyberLink's support of the Myanmar International Music Festival is a reflection of our corporate values as well as our fundamental belief in the power of creativity and music," said Alice H. Chang, CEO of CyberLink. "We believe in empowering and inspiring young people to make the most of their creative talent, and we look for opportunities to enhance collaboration between artists from different cultures. The Myanmar International Music Festival accomplishes all of these things and more, and we are honored to be a part of it."
