Soundbrush Records' Roger Davidson Shares His Passion For Brazilian Jazz During "Live At Caffe Vivaldi, Volume 2" CD Release Concert
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Soundbrush Records CD release concert for "Live at Caffè Vivaldi, Volume 2" featured composer and pianist, Roger Davidson and his Brazilian style jazz compositions. With the accompaniment of bassist, David Finck, and Adriano Santos on drums, the evening performance showcased Davidson's inspired imaginations and a life-long love of Brazilian music.

The "Live at Caffé Vivaldi" series captures Soundbrush Records' long standing Wednesday evening music series at the renowned Caffé Vivaldi in Greenwich Village that started in 2012 to showcase its recording artists. The first volume of the "Live at Caffé Vivaldi" series highlighted Davidson's versatile and original Tango and Jazz compositions performed in duet with Pablo Aslan on bass. This subsequent volume is exclusively Brazilian Jazz, with a dozen of Davidson's compositions and the immortal Antônio Carlos Jobim's classic, "Garota de Ipanema" (The Girl from Ipanema). "Roger Davidson's Brazilian style compositions are the real thing. I feel transported to Rio," said Pablo Aslan.

In "Live at Caffé Vivaldi, Volume 2", Roger Davidson infuses his life-long love of Brazilian music. His connection to the spirit and music of Brazil took root when he was a young boy upon his discovery of early Bossa Nova recordings. "I've spent so much time with Brazilian music that it feels as natural as breathing to me," said Roger Davidson.

"Music means the most when it is an expression of love and an expression of life," according to Roger Davidson, "whether it is of joy, sadness or spiritual aspirations." The lively trio interaction and the spontaneity of "Live at Caffé Vivaldi, Volume 2" whets the audience's appetite for "Live at Caffè Vivaldi, Volume 3" which is expected to be released in the fall.
