Divides Explores Inner Torment In "Drag The River" Music Video
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Portland, OR quintet DIVIDES has released a new music video for their song "Drag The River". The song, which premiered with New Noise Magazine, is off the band's upcoming album (release date and title is still yet to be announced).

The video for "Drag The River" was directed by Scotty Fisher of The Fight Design and produced by the band's vocalist CJ Marie and her company Burning Bridges Productions.

"This song was really cathartic for me to write," says Marie. "As humans, we tend to make choices from time to time that are really fucking stupid. 'Drag The River' is about digging out those parts of yourself and casting them away."

About DIVIDES:
DIVIDES are a passionate group of young musicians who believe in the power music has to connect people. With a strong work ethic and a desire to take their music far beyond their hometown of Anchorage, Alaska, the quartet moved to Portland, Oregon shortly before the release of their debut EP Departures. DIVIDES' ability to seamlessly transition between crushing verses and catchy choruses has allowed them to share the stage with bands of all genres, and vocalist CJ Brunke's passionate stage presence demands the immediate attention of anyone watching.
