Girlfriend"* is scheduled to impact radio Thursday, August 13, 2015 [CDX Vol. 619/7-13-15/PlayMpe 7-13-15].
As the contemporary counter to "Check Yes Or No" (George Strait) this straightforward "play no games" track (co-written with Drew Davis/Erik Halbig) leaves no room for consideration. With matter-of-fact lyrics, this "single lady" lays her "Sadie Hawkins" proposal on line with purposeful intent; Brooke exudes independent confidence---hook line and singer.

"I've spent the last four years in Nashville writing and recording with the goal to become a part of the very fiber of this eclectic, tight-knit community," Brooke introduced. "I'm very excited to get some new music out that is a product of

A professionally trained dancer, piano player, prolific songwriter and polished vocalist,
Brooke Hogan is an extraordinary music entertainer. The daughter of famous wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, Brooke was first introduced into our homes via her roles in the reality television shows "Hogan Knows Best" (2005-07) and "Brooke Knows Best" (2008-09).
"People might think I'm a reality star that had a sudden urge to try my hand in music," Brooke added. "When, in fact, it's the other way around. I took dance and piano lessons, and sang long before the show concepts where created. I signed my first record deal when I was just 13. The head of the label (Lou Perlman/ Transcontinental Records) suggested we film a show to promote my music; our initial goal for the television show was to introduce and launch my music career."
Brooke made an impressionable entry at radio with the hit single "Everything To Me," which reached No. 1 twice on the Top Single Sales chart in 2004. Under the direction of producer Scott Storch (Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, 50 Cent,
Christina Aguilera), Brooke recorded her album UNDISCOVERED and released the track "
About Us" (2006). The single streamed more than 2,500,000 times, while the corresponding music video topped at No. 1 with 750,000-plus plays and inviting 90 million viewers to MySpace.
Brooke has performed before thousands at various high-profile gigs including
Radio Disney's "Jingle Jam" and on stage alongside Hillary Duff, Backstreet Boys, Pussycat Dolls, Boys To Men and Toby Keith. Brooke appeared for the first time at the 2015 CMA
Music Festival where she lit up the Gildan® Hard Rock Café stage.
