Meek Mill Hits No 1 With "Dreams Worth More Than Money"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Maybach Music Group/Atlantic Records artist Meek Mill celebrates his first #1 album with "DREAMS WORTH MORE THAN MONEY," an impressive debut given that the album's release date was announced only five days prior to its release. The rapper's long awaited sophomore album makes an epic debut at #1 on Billboard's "Top 200 Albums" chart, with total album consumption exceeding 246,000. What's more, the acclaimed collection also debuted atop both Billboard's "Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums" and "Top Rap Albums" charts, as well. The Philadelphia-based MC celebrates his first #1 album along with the simultaneous success of his #1 mobile game app, "Bike Life," which also peaked in the top 5 of all mobile apps in the App Store.

"DREAMS WORTH MORE THAN MONEY" is heralded by the first single "All Eyes On You (feat. Chris Brown & Nicki Minaj)," which is rapidly shaping up as a summertime smash, is heating up at Urban radio outlets nationwide, while also beginning to ascend Billboard's "Hot 100." The track's companion video - directed by Benny Boom -- was shot last month and will be released in the coming weeks. Most recently, Meek released the Spike Jordan-directed visual for "Jump Out The Face (feat. Future)":

"DREAMS WORTH MORE THAN MONEY" has received critical acclaim from all corners, ranging from The New York Times, Complex and Billboard, who highlighted that "nearly every song on Dreams Worth More Than Money is big and anthemic." "He accomplishes more with the sound of his rapping than other rappers do with entire albums," raved Pitchfork, praising Meek for "his understanding of rap as a vocal performance; his ability to summon powerful emotions; his combination of vulnerability, bravado, and a storyteller's sense of character and time... those are all the hallmarks of a great rapper."

"Meek Mill Is Loudly Reflective on His Second Album, 'Dreams Worth More Than Money'." - The New York Times
"It reminds you why you loved the guy in the first place: He accomplishes more with the sound of his rapping than other rappers do with entire albums." - Pitchfork
"He sounds like he belongs on the rap-stardom top tier." - Stereogum
"Meek Mill Is In Top Form on 'Dreams Worth More Than Money'." - XXL

Meek celebrated the release of "DREAMS WORTH MORE THAN MONEY" by taking New York City's SoHo by storm with "The Gold Room: Meek Mill Experience," a conceptual pop-up boutique retail experience showcasing his many high profile brand endorsements as well as an exclusive line of artist merchandise by Atlantic Records. Among the items available for purchase were a limited edition run of "DREAMS WORTH MORE THAN MONEY" with a pre-signed album booklet, Monster 24k Headphones, and Meek Mill T-shirts by Atlantic Records. The chart-topping rapper concluded the week with a highly anticipated one-on-one conversation with Elliott Wilson for the latest installment of his acclaimed CRWN conversation series. The first of the four-part episode can be viewed at: https://youtu.be/IT2rA1yVuwA.

Meek was among the performers at last month's 2015 BET Awards, stealing the show with a blockbuster live medley of "Monster" and "All Eyes On You," where he was then accompanied on stage by Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown. Meek - who in recent months has starred on the cover of XXL and Fader's annual "Summer Music" issue - heralded "DREAMS WORTH MORE THAN MONEY" with a series of well-received street hits, including "Check," "B-Boy (Feat. Big Sean & A$AP Ferg)," and "Monster." The latter track's companion video - directed by Spike Jordan (Vince Staples, A$AP Ferg) - is rapidly approaching 4 million individual views:

Meek will celebrate the blockbuster success of "DREAMS WORTH MORE THAN MONEY" with a major North American tour. The dates -- which see him supporting Nicki Minaj on "The Pinkprint Tour" -- begins July 17th at Dallas, TX's Gexa Energy Pavilion and then travels through the summer. "Bike Life," the new mobile game co-developed by Meek Mill and IM3 Gaming Studios, is also proving a phenomenon, coming in this week among the iTunes Store's top 5 "Free Apps." Set in the streets of Philadelphia, the "endless riding" game -- available for iOS and Android platforms -- lets players compete against others to gather coins and performing sick tricks as they mock and evade police apprehension. In addition to exclusive music from Meek, "Bike Life" allows gamers to check out a number of his favorite products and brands -- including PUMA, Monster Energy, Monster Product, Ethika, and Young and Reckless -- while engaging with other superstars along for the ride.

As if all that weren't enough, Meek Mill has also been busy expanding his Dream Chasers label imprint while serving as an in-demand brand ambassador for such high profile companies as Monster Energy and PUMA, with whom he has released several high successful styles of his own signature sneaker. Furthermore, Monster Headphones' "Meek Mill Edition 24K Gold Over-Ear Headphones" are ranked among the industry's best.
