New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Following 3 EP's and 2 Singles since forming in 2010, the highly acclaimed Boat To Row deliver their stunning single 'Whistle And I'll Come To You' taken from the forthcoming debut album 'I Found You Here'. The album is available to Download from November 20th followed by a physical release (CD & LP) in December.

Boat To Row recorded the album over 2 years at Highbury Studios in Birmingham, touring in between sessions to fund the recording. Recording and rehearsing in the ground floor of a house converted from a cricket bat factory, practice naturally evolved into recording in the studio next door, capturing the comfortable, loose feel of a practice room jam instead of searching for the perfect take. The album was then recorded to 16 track tape, chosen because the band wanted the warmth of tape found on so many of their favourite records.

The album was mixed and mastered by Francis Gorini and London Mastering Studios, and the bands fans raised the money to produce the records and CDs through a pledge campaign.

'I Found You Here' is a collection of songs written over a two year period. Exploring ideas of love, loss, hope and the relentless compulsion to try and try again, they are songs cloaked in the imagery and sentiment of storytellers who have gone before. Boat To Row stockpiled hours of material with the aim of capturing their live sound on record, whether that be just guitar and voice or the intricate, knotty arrangements that the 5 musicians would nurture. Having a musical home in the same place that the record was recorded in helped to give the band a refined focus and stability; allowing the music take precedence.

Boat To Row have received glowing reviews from the media such as: DIY, 405, Gold Flake Paint, Counteract, Echoes & Dust and Fused, they have been played on BBC 6 Music , BBC Radio 2 and many local stations, they have also played at Festivals like: 2000 Trees, Lunar, Wood, Moseley Folk, Green Man, Blissfields, Truck, Cambridge Folk, No Direction Home, Greenbelt, Standon Calling, Y Not, Barn On The Farm.

Boat To Row are:
Michael King - Vocals, Guitar
Ben Gilchrist - bass, guitar, vocals
Anna Bennett - violin, harmonium, vocals
Lydia Glanville - drums
