Loren Smith Shares Soulful Message Of Support In "Always Remember"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Soul-pop artist, Loren Smith just released his latest single and music video, "Always Remember," an elating song with a message of empathy and kindness in support of National Bullying Prevention Month. Smith's intention with the song is to comfort and inspire everyone who has felt bullied, belittled or marginalized. "Always Remember" is now available on iTunes along with the music video on YouTube.

Love and encouragement are the two most consistent and important themes in Loren Smith's music. Previous hits like "Break Free" and "Beautiful Smile" demonstrate Smith's preference for dance pop, though his latest single "Always Remember" is a heartwarming ballad driven entirely by his tender vocals and classical piano. While Smith typically arranges his music with a lush and percussive flair, "Always Remember" is a stark departure musically to emphasize the significance of the message of caring for others. Directed by Nathan Noyes of Ash + Bone Cinema, the video for this single enhances Smith's words of assurance with a breathtaking visual companion. Finding Smith in a vivid mountainous range alongside a hiker wrestling with his own fear and self-doubt, it ends on a note of compassion. "Since kindergarten, I've been bullied for almost everything - my dark skin, high voice, too fat, too loud, too black, not black enough - and I still work to discard taunts I planted and watered in my brain," Smith comments. "May 'Always Remember' remind you that who you are, is more than enough. Let's all shine a light on the cause and effects of bullying. It can't go on any longer and it must stop." Smith specifically chose to release "Always Remember" this October in honor of National Bullying Prevention Month. Similarly, Smith released an acoustic version of his last single "Beautiful Smile" for free during Suicide Prevention Week this past September.

Coming from a musically inclined family of gospel singers, music always felt more like a heritage than a choice. As a child, Smith would spend hours practicing singing daily and in middle school began to realize that his passion for music was a gift worth pursuing. Smith went straight to writing music as a freelance artist and performed at theme parks after graduating with a bachelor's degree in music. He continues to write music, which has been licensed for film and television and has performed backing vocals for numerous artists. Recently, Smith began to follow his own dream, achieving success with his debut single, "Break Free". Both headlining and in support of other artists, Smith has performed hundreds of concerts internationally and will only go further with a relentless drive for music.

Being familiar with bullying on a deeply personal level, Loren Smith feels a strong sense of conviction about bullying prevention and the sincerity echoes throughout the melodies of "Always Remember." If you hear Loren Smith's voice, you hear his heart. Download "Always Remember" available on iTunes and Spotify and be sure to watch the video on YouTube.
