Pop And TV Star Facundo Arana Visits The Friends Of Zion Museum In Jerusalem
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Friends of Zion Museum) The popular television star Facundo Arana stopped by today to experience the Friends of Zion museum as part of his stay in Jerusalem.

The popular actor and musician said: "The museum talks about tolerance. Israeli people should go all over the world to teach tolerance and ask their brothers to have tolerance because they are willing to have tolerance."

The Argentinian star came to experience the Interactive FOZ Museum tour, in order to learn first-hand about the long history of friendship and cooperation of non-Jewish people of all religions helping the Jewish nation in the last 200 years, including the holocaust as well as through the reformation of the state of Israel.

Heartthrob Arana has taken a tour of the museum, in order to expand on his knowledge of the history of the long lasting friendship, co-operation, and care of non-Jews of all religions and that ave assisted the Jewish people throughout the past generations, and during such time as the holocaust and the founding of the state of Israel in particular.

Facundo Arana commented: "Wonderful people telling us stories, true stories, and very inspiring stories."

The actor and his delegation toured the museum for an hour and a half, watching exhibits delivered via some of the most impressive museum technology in the world, including three-dimensional projection mapping on unique sculptures and complex rotoscope animations that bring live-action video footage into a painted media. They learned the about the contributions of Friends of Zion such as US President Harry Truman, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, US president's forefather, Prof. George W. Bush, Orde Wingate, and righteous gentiles such as Oskar Schindler, Raoul Wallenberg and the Ten Boom family, who risked their lives to save Jews persecuted throughout the world.

The museum was opened last month in a festive ceremony in the presence of former president Shimon Peres and the chairman of the board of international friends, Yossi Peled. It is the brainchild of thousands of people who love Israel, of all denominations, and its purpose is to bring people closer and cultivate friendship between religions.

Arana thanked his hosts at the museum, stressing that the place emphasizes the tolerance between people, and by having it located in the heart of Jerusalem, it is the "way to encourage friendship and co-operation between different nations and religions."

The museum's Address: The Friends of Zion Museum, 20 Yosef Rivlin Street (near the Cats' Square) in Jerusalem. The museum is open to visitors by appointment, through the museum's website: www.fozmuseum.com or [email protected]
