Sarah Petrella Releases Irresistible Americana EP 'Seasons'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Folk-rock artist, Sarah Petrella, released her Seasons EP, showcasing her impeccable knack to produce southern rock with an air of seduction. Packed with grizzly guitar licks and a western flair, Petrella's feisty presence shines in her gorgeous and sultry vocals. Seasons is now available on iTunes.

Sarah Petrella's music is intense, gripping and intriguing like a confrontation in a Quentin Tarantino film. Her latest release, Seasons, is exemplary in showcasing the cinematic qualities that make her folk rock so addicting. The opening single, "Dancing With The Devil," hits the ground running like a shoot-out, as Petrella's powerful vocals take the lead over monstrous electric guitar work. The third track, "Change," feels restrained until the song hits the chorus, losing control when it hits a heavy hook with the southern bell's steamy vocals, evoking a fiery passion. "Remember Me" is a beautiful ballad loaded with a lush arrangement of strings, piano and mandolin that form spellbinding resonance. As the Seasons EP teases out provocative concepts of temptation and desire, this imagery culminates with the single, "Mr. Mystery," bursting with explosive theatrical instrumentation that supports Petrella's impressive vocal range. Last month, Petrella released the captivating video for "Mr. Mystery," now on YouTube. Closing Seasons, the title track is a soft and delicate gem encapsulating the cycle of life through the metaphor of seasons paired with a soothing acoustic melody. Love and longing are themes that navigate this collection of work as Petrella found inspiration in her own experiences in both. "I sing a lot about past relationships in these songs," Petrella comments. "Relationships that have left me feeling everywhere from revengeful, to miserable, and even stronger afterwards." The Seasons EP was recorded and produced at Echo Underground Studios by Dan Kalisher, known for working with Jesse McCartney, Matthew Morrison, Megan & Liz and multiple contenders of the television show The Voice.

California-native, Sarah Petrella developed a love for music early in childhood, at the age of six. Petrella's father encouraged involvement in musical theater, which sparked a passion to begin exploring her own creativity through songwriting soon after. It became clear to the young starlet that this the path she felt truly drawn to when she won the CMA competition for Best Vocal Group, while performing with the country band, "Most Wanted." At the age of sixteen, she was already working in professional recording projects in Nashville, TN. Petrella found her own Americana voice fusing her deep appreciation for blues, rock and country. The southern rock artist cites inspiration from acts such Judy Garland, Led Zeppelin and The Rolling Stones. Recently, Petrella has graced the stages of the Los Angeles music scene at legendary venues such as the House of Blues, Room 5, Bar Lubitsch and many more.

Packaged with seduction and finesse, The Seasons EP showcases Petrella's refined vocal chops and rich melodies. The rising southern star clears her own path with rocking melodies and rich story-telling that set her apart from her peers.
