New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Four for Smithsonian Folkways; two for jazz prodigy Joey Alexander and Comedy Dynamics; Cécile McLorin Salvant, Brandi Carlile, Jon Cleary and Fairfield Four also receive nods.

Shore Fire Media would like to congratulate the clients we represented in the past year who collectively earned 13 GRAMMY nominations this morning. Smithsonian Folkways Recordings earned 4 nominations, and Comedy Dynamics received 2 of the five nods for Best Comedy Album. Twelve-year-old jazz pianist Joey Alexander also had a pair of nominations, one for Best Jazz Instrumental Album and another for Improvised Jazz Solo, while Cécile McLorin Salvant, Brandi Carlile, Jon Cleary, the Fairfield Four and Third Man Records / Revenant Records' The Rise & Fall of Paramount Records, Volume Two (1928 - 32) collection each earned nominations.

The nominations represented a wide range of musical fields, including American Roots, Jazz, Latin, Childrens, Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music and Comedy, showcasing the diversity and versatility of the Shore Fire roster.

The 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards will be held February 15 at LA's Staples Center and will be broadcast live on CBS.
