Eons Away - Swell & Keep Up
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Eons Away is a new synth-pop project for everyone who likes pop music with an Eighties vibe!
Josef van Galen and Jelle Imbos recorded their first demo in the year 2000. In the following years, they secretly recorded quite a few songs, but never dared to release them to the public. When Josef started a new project, Pin Up Club, with disco influenced electronica, Josef and Jelle teamed up again to create synth-pop songs with an Eighties and Wave vibe.
Now their first ever release is ready. Expect layers of synth melodies and vocal harmonies from outer space supported by intergalactic disco beats and two instant classics Swell and Keep Up plus five remixes:
xtrapillows fantastic Balearic New Wave version of Swell sounds like it was made during the chillout on a party on Ibiza in 1982, Jaytors Hipster Armageddon version beams us back to the same place in the Mediterranean Sea, but into the year 1996 - such a charming versi on with the weird vocals, tender tribal percussions and sunset synths.
Keep Up in the Offaudio Remix (hailing from India) gets a funky disco groove and a Cosmic touch, a steady flow you will love, and then there is this drop.... Hidromental from Chile lets the 80s synth arpeggio roll straight into the sunset, bomb, and Dalo gives it a House touch you would not want to miss. A great package for lovers of supreme electronica.
