New York, NY (Top40 Charts / Insomniac) Today, Insomniac announced details for the 5th annual EDMbiz Conference & Expo, to be held June 14-16, 2016. For the first time, the three-day event will be held at Caesars Palace, with a footprint that will double the size and scope of conference programming. Unveiled today, the three new cornerstones of EDMbiz—Experience, Technology and Aspiration—will inform a new secondary programming experience that features quick-fire discussions, unique demonstrations, and panels led by the music industry's freshest, most cutting-edge creators, innovators and talent.

"EDMbiz is a unique opportunity for our entire community to come together and shape the future of dance music," said Pasquale Rotella, CEO and Founder of Insomniac. "From artists, promoters, agents and journalists, to people who simply aspire to be part of this amazing culture, everyone has the chance to contribute to the discussion."

With these new guiding principles and expanded layout, the opportunity for ingenuity and innovation at EDMbiz has never been greater. In addition to the conference's regularly curated panelists, 2016 will see the addition of Stage Two, a town-hall environment where the newest thought leaders and trendsetters in the industry will host fast-paced talks on the latest topics impacting dance music culture.

Those looking for networking opportunities and industry-wide exposure can take advantage of the first-ever EDMbiz Hackathon, where entrepreneurs and programmers have the opportunity to come together to collaborate on and create new digital tools, a feature never before seen at a dance music conference. Further, aspiring DJ/producers can take advantage of the second year of the EDMbiz Song Contest to have their original music heard by influential artists and industry players.

EDMbiz has also added two additional ticketing tier options, in addition to the standard three-day Wide Awake Badge, which comes with full event access plus entry to select EDC Week programming. The new Kinetic Badge includes access only to Stage Two, the EDMbiz Expo and select EDC Week programming, while the new Neon Badge includes access to the Expo and the same select EDC Week club shows. Jason Bentley, KCRW's Music Director and host of Morning Becomes Eclectic, will return to host the new-look conference.

Since its inception, EDMbiz has curated candid, groundbreaking panels such as "Drugs in Dance Music: It's Time to Talk," "Dance Music and the Urban Ecosystem," "Content vs. Distribution: Which One Is King?" and the always anticipated "EDMbiz Artist Panel." Illustrious speakers have included Michael Rapino, CEO of Live Nation; Tony Hsieh, CEO and Founder of Zappos.com and the Downtown Project; Marc Geiger, Head of Music, William Morris Endeavor; Rob Light, Partner and Managing Director, CAA; Paul Morris, Founder and President of AM Only; John Amato, President of Billboard; and Insomniac's own Pasquale Rotella; as well as artists Above & Beyond, Krewella, Steve Aoki, Pete Tong, Perry Farrell and Oliver Heldens, to name a few.

All three-day passes and a discounted hotel link for EDMbiz are on sale now at EDMbiz.com. Three-day Wide Awake passes are on sale now for $349 (plus fees), the Kinetic Badge is available for $249 (plus fees), and the Neon Badge is $149 (plus fees). Badge holders will once again have access to a variety of special events during EDC Week, such as club shows featuring artists from the EDC Las Vegas lineup at Omnia, Hakkasan, TAO and Marquee.

This year, Insomniac celebrates the 20-year anniversary of EDC, taking place at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway from June 17-19.
