Christian Singer & Songwriter RS Williams Encourages Couples In Song With New Single "Anniversal"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The most romantic day of the year, Valentine's Day, is just around the corner and new artist RS Williams is celebrating with the release of a new lighthearted, inspirational song. Showcasing a unique musical approach, RS Williams delivers his first single, the country and folk-inspired track "Anniversal". The song's title, a clever collage of the words "anniversary" and "beautiful", is a testament to love and the strength of marriage. The playful track, featuring the artist on acoustic guitar, is included on the artist's CD debut, The Road.

A believer of strong families, RS Williams believes that strong families begin with strong marriages. He wants couples to understand that the marriage vow is a covenant, a contract. "Marriage is all about contracts," Williams states. "Many people are unaware of the fine print in their marriage contracts. Most people don't even know that they invited and infused God into their contract. Their contact with God also invited the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ into their marriage as well. Many brides and grooms forget that they are not only making a promise to their spouse, but to God, too. Breaking a vow with their spouse means breaking their vow to God as well."

RS Williams has witnessed marriages fall apart in front of him. Although he's been married for over 33 years, he's seen the devastation of divorce and wants to do all he can to keep couples together. He encourages men and women to go back to the love they first had when they said "I do". He tells spouses who are struggling in their marriages to "go back to their first love". With a commitment to keep families together, RS Williams uses music as a tool to convey biblical concepts. His debut CD, The Road, consists of 14 tracks, seven original songs and their acoustic-inspired counterparts. Called "eclectic" and "adventurous", RS Williams uplifts the soul with his music.

Born in the Bahamas, he came to the United States in 1995 to study engineering. Surrounded by music, his church experience as a youth was not typical. His church was started by missionaries from Tennessee and country-sounding Gospel music was present during each service and at home. He wrote poems as a child - which were highly influenced by the psalms - which eventually morphed into songwriting. The influence of James Cleveland and the Chuck Wagon Gang resulted in the distinctive styling of performance and songwriting which is now the RS Williams' music ministry.
