New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Country music icon "Whisperin'" Bill Anderson has signed with The Kinkead Entertainment Agency for booking representation. Bob Kinkead will serve as his agent and is based in the agency's Nashville office.

His 30-plus year reputation as an agent in Nashville is impeccable," Bill Anderson said in a statement. Music Hall of Fame, he is the only known songwriter in the history of country music to achieve an entry on the country charts for seven consecutive decades, and first recipient of the BMI Icon award.
Anderson's penned hits include "Whiskey Lullaby," (Brad Paisley/Alison Krauss) "A Lot Of Things Different," (Kenny Chesney) "Give It Away," (George Strait) and "Country," (Mo Pitney) among others. At age 19, he composed his first country classic "
City Lights" in his home state of Georgia, where he studied journalism at UGA. Other well-known songs include "Still," "The Tips Of My Fingers," "Po' Folks," "Mama Sang A Song," "8X10," and many more.
Anderson is also a decorated TV personality and host, having starred on ABC's "The Better Sex," "Fandango," "Country's Family Reunion" and "Larry's Country Diner," to name a few.
