"I Kissed My Angel Girl Goodbye, Still Can't Help But Wonder Why, But I Believe I'll See Her Again Someday" - Aaron Watson, "Bluebonnets" (Julia's Song)
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Aaron Watson was called "a proud country traditionalist" by the New York Times and has earned a reputation as one of country music's hardest-working artists. His loyal fans stretch from his home state of Texas to every corner of the U.S. and into Europe, where his shows sell out well in advance.

In 2015, he made history as the only independent solo male country artist to debut at No. 1 on Billboard's country albums chart ('The Underdog,' Feb. 17, 2015), a feat that turned the heads of everyone in country music.

Such success pales in comparison to Aaron's faith and love for his family. On his most recent single, "Bluebonnets," he completely opens up, baring his heart in tribute to Julia Grace Watson, the infant daughter he lost five years ago.

Julia Grace was Aaron and Kimberly Watson's fourth child. Just a few hours after she was born, she succumbed to complications from Trisomy 18, a chromosomal abnormality. Her death left Aaron and Kimberly devastated (More about Trisomy 18).

The next spring, while Kimberly was setting up a family photo where they had laid Julia to rest six months earlier, Aaron was reminded of her and of how precious life is.

"I had such an overwhelming mixture of emotions seeing Jake, Jack and Jolee Kate smiling in a field of bluebonnets (the state flower of Texas), while having the place we laid their little sister to rest in the distance behind them," Aaron says. He went home that night and wrote: "Pack light & love heavy, give it all your heart and soul and in the end you won't regret one thing. Life is like bluebonnets in the spring.'"

Those words became "Bluebonnets (Julia's Song)." It's not only a tribute to Aaron's daughter, it represents facing heartbreak, the hard process of healing, and coming out on the other side. It's about redemption and faith.

"Bluebonnets" is personal, yet accessible to anyone who has experienced loss. This song is becoming one of this year's most inspiring messages by reminding listeners of the fragility of each day and challenging them to live life to its fullest.

This summer, Aaron will headline dates across the country, taking artists like Brandy Clark, Tracy Lawrence, William Michael Morgan and Ned LeDoux (son of famed Chris LeDoux) with him. Due to fan demand, he is filling bigger venues than ever before and is confirmed for Stagecoach, Cheyenne Frontier Days, Watershed, Faster Horses, Country Jam and other notable festivals.

While known for his family-friendly and fun shows, Aaron undoubtedly will touch fans with his moving live performance of "Bluebonnets." He exposes his heart through this song. Transparent and endearing, he offers listeners a moment to reflect in whatever way the song speaks to their personal lives.
