Showhive Creates New Production Show Entertainment Package For Norwegian Cruise Lines

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Our commitment to pushing the boundaries of theatrical entertainment has encouraged the showHive creative team to develop unique theatrical experiences.

showHive, Inc, a creative development and entertainment production firm, announces the premier of a suite of six intimate, music-centric production shows. showHive founder, Emmett Murphy, says, "Our commitment to pushing the boundaries of theatrical entertainment has encouraged the showHive creative team to develop unique theatrical experiences that will resonate with discerning audiences with sophisticated musical expectations." The new shows were deployed onboard the vessels of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, Ltd., including Oceania Cruises in the Spring of 2016.

"Tuxedo" presents a fresh take on the music of the Rat Pack, the Great American Songbook and the music of legends such as Tony Bennett, Natalie Cole, Frank Sinatra and many more.

"Cabaret Cinema" is a new and artful reinvention of the most memorable music of the silver screen, including classic movie themes, pop hits and Academy Award showstoppers from all eras.

"Acoustic Sessions" presents the most recognizable pop music of the last four decades in an "unplugged" acoustic musical style. The show is presented "in-the-round" with 360 degree immersive arena style seating.

"Get on the Floor and Dance" is a tribute to the music of dance and features iconic, hit music from artists like Gloria Estefan, Michael Bublé, Christina Aguilera and Brian Setzer.

"Gatsby's" is an opulent, 1920s era musical romp through the roaring jazz age which takes place in a fictional speakeasy on the last night of Prohibition.

"Good Lovin'" is an infectious tribute to the irresistible beat and soulful pop and Motown classics that filled the airwaves throughout the 1960s.

The new shows focus on live musical performances incorporating singers, dancers and live musicians, including multi-instrumentalists and a string quartet. The performances are integrated with innovative multimedia and LED technology and are well-suited for this upper-premium brand.

Garrett Caine, showHive's Chief Technical Producer, who is overseeing the media development, design and technology integrations, notes that, "showHive is making a significant commitment to using available technologies to enhance the storytelling process, not just as special effects."

The new shows have been conceived and directed by Emmett Murphy. Original musical arrangements by jazz composer and recording artist, Christian Tamburr. Choreography has been created by Broadway vetted Jessica Hartman and Jennifer Savelli. Costume Design by the legendary Mistinguett. Scenic Design by Tom Cluff. Lighting Design by Garrett Caine.
